Festival PATTAYA GAY FESTIVAL 2007
2006 was another great, fun packed year that
raised B3,428,440 for local charities. Who can forget the
fabulous closing street party,
or the gourmet dinners provided by the best restaurants in Jomtien and
Pattaya? Once again the main beneficiary was Heartt 2000
to help provide HIV treatment. (Full details on the website

But of course sadly that is not enough, the fight
against HIV must go on, and there are many other local causes that
also deserve support.
We need YOUR support to continue the good work.
This year will follow the successful format of
previous years but we have introduced three levels of membership;
please see the attached application form that has all the details.
New events are also being introduced, so keep checking back with the
website
www.pattayagayfestival.com for up to date information.
Any member is welcome to organize an event on
behalf and under the auspices of the PGF. Your event can be held at
any time of year, and the total and funding of holding such events
is the full responsibility of the member, and in particular:
1. Prior notification of the date and type of
event to PGF for approval and to ensure that there are no competing
events.
2. Monies received for the PGF must be paid over
to the PGF treasurer within 7 days of the event
3. All publicity should include the phrase
“proceeds in support of PGF charities” and sponsors of approved
events are
required to use the PGF logo.
Self sponsored and new ideas by members always
welcome! When arranging your event contact either
Glen Campbell (085 805 7003) or Chris Munnerley (081 590 0570) who
are this years event co-ordinators.

The PGF logo CANNOT be used by members for any
purpose other than fund raising for the PGF or advertising PGF
approved events. For benefits of being a PGF member please see

“The participation of any business
which is employing under age staff and offering the same
to its customers is unacceptable. The Pattaya Gay
festival does not want this type of business
participating in or sponsoring any festival events”

Financial Report for 2006 Approved by Committee
and Signed by Chairman and Accountant.
Total income
for the financial year ending 31 December 2006 was Baht 3.7 million,
which exceeded the target by Baht 700,000.
Compared to last
year the total income was lower by Baht 98,000, which was an
excellent result as there were five fewer events. 35% of the total
income was earned in the final festival weekend in December. Other
events of note were the opening street party and the first dinner at
Bruno’s, which raised a further 35%.
Membership Fees
were Baht 295,000 representing 32 members, on target for 2006. This
nearly covered the cost of running the events, raffles, advertising
and printing for all the PGF promotions during the year. An
additional once off cost of Baht 50,000 was incurred in response to
a request for assistance from the local police.
Administration
fees were zero for the year and 99% of total income was available
for donation to worthy causes as Membership fees covered most of the
cost.
HEARTT 2000 was
the only beneficiary during 2006, receiving a total in excess of
Baht 3.6 million.
The Bank Balance
at 31 December 2006 was Baht 2.8 million, which secures the
contributions to HEARTT 2000 until end November 2007.
